We can’t depend on a special interest-backed Republican from out of state to hold the line for Democrats in the Senate

The future of the Senate could be decided by a single Senate seat. And crypto interests and billionaires are trying to buy this one in Massachusetts by propping up my Republican opponent.

With extremists trying to ban abortion nationwide, we can’t take any chances. We need Senators we can 100% trust to protect abortion rights.

That’s not my opponent.

He said he would have voted for Neil Gorsuch, one of Trump’s Supreme Court justices who overturned Roe v. Wade. He bragged about raising money for Republicans who support a national abortion ban.

With the future of Senate Control at stake, we can’t afford to take anything for granted — not even one vote from Massachusetts.

If the Republicans have control of the Senate, there would be zero opportunity to vote on a law for national abortion protections.

Our education policy would also be controlled by people who don't believe in public education.

Our climate policy would be controlled by people who are climate deniers.

Our judges would be carefully screened by people who would make sure that they are anti-abortion.

And our gun policy would be set by people who think thoughts and prayers are all that we need.

We can’t depend on a special interest-backed Republican from out of state to hold the line for Democrats in the Senate when these issues are put up to a vote. That’s why this race is incredibly important, and why I’m taking this seriously.

And look, it’s not just about being on defense. We need to go on offense for working people — to pass policies that will make positive, transformative changes. So I’m fighting to bring down the cost of housing. Put child care within reach for all working parents. Protect our country from the climate crisis. Make the Supreme Court follow a standard code of ethics. Take power away from powerful interests like Big Pharma, Big Oil, and big banks and put it in the hands of working people — which means passing my set of anti-corruption plans.

We can get all this done — and more — as long as we keep fighting side by side.
