This weekend, Donald Trump openly threatened to withhold federal aid to California in the event of a natural disaster.

The exact quote was, “we're not giving you any of that fire money that we send you for all the forest fires you have!”

Californians – specifically here in CA-41 – have been ravaged by wildfires over the years. Playing politics with relief aid is not only irresponsible, but incredibly harmful.
