As you may have heard, the nuclear lobby is pushing a "blueprint" for more expensive, dangerous, and ineffective nuclear energy in New York. AGREE and our coalition allies are rapidly mobilizing against it, and our pressure successfully got New Yorkers an additional month to voice our opposition to this toxic, wasteful plan through public comments. That's not the only way you can make your voice heard. As National Grid attempts to push another exorbitant rate hike on New Yorkers, this time upstate, we're collecting public comments to push back. If you're opposed to National Grid raising rates to pay their CEO $8 million dollars, and spending almost $2 billion dollars on more fracked gas, make sure to let our regulators at the Public Service Commission know.
