Dear Friend, 

When reviewing many recent campaign media messages, speeches and rallies, I have seen some very troubling remarks. These include supporting a national law codifying a right to an abortion, transgender mutilation surgeries and the right to use restrooms that align with students’ gender identities. Where to begin can seem daunting.  

As a Catholic organization, we are careful to not take partisan political positions nor offer guidance as to who to vote for specifically; but, we are compelled to speak about the principles of the Gospel and the Tradition as well as ideas that touch on those principles.

Providing a simple, initial framework to help guide our decisions in this or any election, our Shepherd, Cardinal Burke has said: “Catholics must place life, family & religious freedom first when voting.”

Most importantly, as we prepare to vote in good conscience, it is worth being reminded that prayer is the greatest of all forces.

Please join me in three days of prayers and submit your intentions for our Presidential Election Countdown - three Holy Masses, from October 18-20. Storming Heaven together, we will invoke:

The Sacred Heart of Jesus on Friday, October 18

The Blessed Virgin Mary on Saturday, October 19

The Holy Face of Jesus on Sunday, October 20

Include intentions for our nation, candidates you have been praying for, as well as your own personal petitions.

From October 18-20, we will be praying for our nation, as well as all who exercise their right to vote for the common good, as we countdown to November 5. Please submit your petitions now for the three Holy Masses.

May Our Lady, Seat of Wisdom guide us.
