Local: What a Tree-leaf. 🌳

Frank Powelson removed some brush from his property that was causing flooding and a mosquito problem. Little did Frank know, his actions on his property would result in $47,000 in fines from the Township of Canton, Michigan.

Last month, the Federal District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan declared the Township of Canton's tree ordinance unconstitutional. The court dismissed ALL of the Township's counterclaims and entered judgment on behalf of TPPF's client Frank Powelson.

Without action, government grows and becomes more intrusive in our lives. Join the fight!
