As you well know, Border Czar Kamala Harris intentionally created an illegal invasion at our southern border.

Under her failed policies and disastrous leadership, there have been more than ten million illegal alien encounters nationwide — with roughly two million known gotaways who evaded Border Patrol. To make matters worse, new data reveals that the Biden-Harris Administration released over 600,000 illegal aliens with criminal histories into the country. Alarmingly, this includes 13,099 illegals convicted of homicide, 62,231 convicted of assault, and 13,423 convicted of weapon offenses.

These numbers should terrify every American — especially if these dangerous individuals get their hands on firearms.

Currently, 19 states and Washington, D.C. offer driver’s licenses to illegal aliens. Additionally, Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s controversial Secure Docket Card pilot program is projected to distribute around 10,000 photo ID cards to illegal aliens released into the United States.

So, while Border Czar Kamala Harris has allowed criminal illegal aliens to roam our streets, radical liberals like Minnesota Governor Tim Walz are offering them photo IDs.

Folks, this is a recipe for disaster.

That’s why I recently introduced the No Guns for Illegal Aliens Act, which would simply prohibit illegal aliens from using government-issued IDs to purchase firearms.

This legislation is just plain common sense!

As we await President Trump’s historic mass deportation effort, we must ensure illegal aliens with government-issued IDs cannot obtain firearms and wreak havoc on our communities. Please know that I’m working to protect you and your family from dangerous illegal aliens, which includes preventing these criminals from purchasing guns and defending American citizens’ Second Amendment freedoms.

Rep. Clyde Urges Senate to Take Action on Disaster Tax Relief

In the wake of the devastation caused by Hurricane Helene across the southeastern United States, a bipartisan group of nearly 60 House lawmakers is urging the Senate to take action on delivering much-needed relief to disaster victims. The letter, led by Rep. Greg Steube (R-FL), calls on Senate Leaders Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and Mitch McConnell (R-KY) to swiftly consider the Federal Disaster Tax Relief Act. This critical legislation, which passed the House in May with sweeping bipartisan support, ensures that Americans subjected to damages from hurricanes and other federally declared disasters receive long-awaited tax relief.

I proudly joined this effort, as I believe Congress must help all Americans — including Northeast Georgians — recover and rebuild from natural disasters. Through no fault of their own, many families, small businesses, and communities have been forever changed by catastrophic storms. By sending the Federal Disaster Tax Relief Act to President Biden’s desk, we can finally allow folks struggling to deduct disaster-related expenses from their federal taxes. In the weeks following Helene, I’ve been incredibly moved by folks across the Ninth District who have selflessly stepped up to help those in need. For example, Syfan Transport and Syfan Logistics collected and transported more than 37 semi-trucks full of donated goods from surrounding communities. This includes everything from canned goods and baby formula to toiletries and cleaning supplies. Thank you to everyone who donated or volunteered their time to assist those who need it most.

What a powerful reminder that local communities can make a difference!
