We have incredible news out of Georgia. Yesterday, a record-breaking 300,000
voters cast their ballots on the first day of early voting—the highest number
of first-day early votes in the state's history! This is a testament to the
power of voters making their voices heard overcoming the challenges we face
with voter ID laws in Georgia.

VoteRiders is on the ground in Georgia to ensure that every eligible voter can
cast their ballot, especially in states like Georgia where strict voter ID laws
can make voting complicated. For example, students in Georgia can vote using
their Student ID… but only if that ID is from an approved PUBLIC college or
university. Meaning IDs from private HBCUs cannot be used to vote in Georgia.

We’re on the frontlines helping people navigate these hurdles that
disproportionately affect Black and Brown voters.

But with the election less than three weeks away, our work is far from over.
We’re working overtime to help voters across Georgia, and we need your support

* On-the-Ground Support: Working with local organizations to provide
personalized support for anyone unsure about their voting rights or how to meet
the ID requirements.
