John,

I want to tell you why I’m inspired by Dan Osborn, an industrial mechanic running to be Nebraska’s next senator.

But first, I need your help. Dan is under attack from Mitch McConnell and right-wing billionaire-funded super PACs. They know he could be the deciding vote in the US Senate. We can’t let them do it.

Can you rush a contribution to Dan’s campaign right now? [[link removed]]

Dan Osborn knows what it’s like to work for a living. A Navy and Nebraska National Guard veteran, he put his college education on hold and took a job as an industrial mechanic at the Kellogg’s plant in Omaha to support his family. He worked 50-, 60-, and sometimes 90-hour weeks. During his last year at the factory, he picked up 33 different 16-hour shifts on Sundays to give his family a better life.

Dan was elected president of his union, BCTGM Local 50G. He successfully led a 77-day strike in 2021 at the Omaha Kellogg’s plant, securing 500 jobs and worker benefits. Kellogg’s retaliated by firing Osborn for leading the strike.

FiveThirtyEight is calling this the closest Senate race in the country. Five brand-new polls show Dan is narrowly leading his Republican opponent, Deb Fischer, and Republicans are getting scared. Mitch McConnell and his Super PAC billionaire buddies are spending over $8.8 million on new TV ads attacking Dan. They know that if he’s elected, he will hold the 51st vote needed to stop a complete national abortion ban, get money out of politics, and take on the billionaires.

Dan isn’t taking any corporate PAC money because he isn’t in this race to represent corporations or the wealthy. He spent 20 years working for a major corporation, and he knows how important it is for working Americans to have a seat at the table.

The polls are clear: this is a Senate race we can win. But Dan can’t do it alone.

Can you rush a donation today to show Dan the nation has his back? [[link removed]]
