As Election Day approaches, I’m continuing to travel around the country endorsing outstanding Social Security champions!

I just visited Pennsylvania and New York to campaign with two candidates who are fighting to protect our earned benefits: Janelle Stelson and Laura Gillen⁩. They are running for U.S. House to unseat Republicans with terrible records on Social Security.

Janelle Stelson’s opponent, Scott Perry, wants to make HUGE CUTS to Social Security by raising the retirement age. He voted for Paul Ryan’s Medicare-destroying budget. And he wants to make it unconstitutional for Social Security to pay promised benefits!

Laura Gillen’s opponent, Anthony D’Esposito, is so corrupt that he employed both his fiancée’s daughter and his mistress — and paid them with our public tax dollars. Yet he insists there’s not enough money to cover our earned benefits, and voted to slash funding for the Social Security Administration.

Stelson says that “I am running for Congress to stop out of touch politicians like @ScottPerryPA from taking away your hard earned benefits.”

Gillen says, “In Congress, I will fight for our seniors by protecting and strengthening Social Security and Medicare.”
