To preserve climate progress we need to fight against this radical agenda, here’s how:

Hi John,

It’s times like these that we recognize the value of good government, as local, state and federal agencies work tirelessly to provide a lifeline to flood victims and evacuees. But what happens if they’re not empowered to act?

It’s a frightening reality that could be possible through the Project 2025 agenda. We’ve said it before, “Project 2025 is a roadmap to climate catastrophe.” But what we didn’t say is how dangerous it will be for communities already on the front lines of climate change.

Project 2025 will hinder the government’s ability to do literally anything that has to do with climate change — whether it’s research, recovery or response. But you can help change that by volunteering for pro-climate candidates!

This backward agenda denies what’s already in front of us: climate disasters are worsened by big polluters and their allies. But I’m sure you’re wondering, “what’s actually on Project 2025’s to-do list?”

Here are just a few examples:

Gutting and privatizing agencies like: the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the National Weather Service;
Replacing seasoned expert civil servants in NOAA and other agencies with anti-climate political appointees;
Restricting government-funded climate research;
Reversing regulations that reduce greenhouse gas emissions in agriculture, automobiles and industry; and even...
Dismantling restrictions on coal, oil and natural gas production and reducing fees and accountability for drilling operations on public lands.

We know the danger of inaction. We see it in the wake of worsening extreme weather and climate disasters. But the U.S. is anything but helpless, and with the right leadership we know we’ll persevere.

Don’t miss your chance to fight against this radical agenda. Start by making a plan to vote. And if you can, join our movement to support climate candidates by volunteering with us!
