Everytown for Gun Safety recently released an ad calling out Beth Van Duyne for refusing to support simple, common-sense gun laws that Texans want. I wanted to make sure you saw it today.

Beth Van Duyne has a proven track record of siding against the people of Texas and with the NRA and the rest of the gun lobby. She’s more worried about the amount of money coming to her campaign from the NRA than the amount of Texas lives lost to gun violence.

Kim made her stance on guns clear, and Everytown for Gun Safety took notice, honoring her with the Gun Sense Candidate Distinction just last month.

We cannot afford to let this crisis go on unchecked. We need a congresswoman who is dedicated to taking guns out of the hands of people who shouldn’t have them and puts a premium on the safety of our children.
