After I vetoed the Democrats' extreme state budget, our approval numbers increased! A new Granite State Poll released today by the UNH Survey Center shows that 60% of New Hampshire residents approve of the job that we are doing, and 73% say that New Hampshire is headed in the right direction.

That very same poll also shows the Democrat-controlled legislature's approval rating has plummeted in the weeks since they sent their extreme budget to my desk — and that's no accident.
