We've got some exciting news: We just launched a brand new TV ad!

It highlights Eddie's success as a small business owner when navigating one of the most difficult economic crisis of our time, namely: The 2008 Great Recession.

Eddie knows how hard it is to operate a business in tough times. He knows how it feels to worry about workers' wages and how to provide stability for their families. But instead of leaving his employees high and dry, Eddie took a massive pay cut to ensure no employees would be laid off. He did the same in the early 2000s with the Dot Com Crash and is doing the same now with COVID-19.

When we defeat the coronavirus and begin our national economic healing, we're going to need proven leaders who'll put working families and those hit hardest first -- leaders like Eddie. We're excited to share Eddie's qualifications for the challenges to come, but ad time is expensive, and we can't afford to keep this ad up for the next four weeks.

With only a few weeks left until election day, we're doing everything we can to reach voters.

Unfortunately, the pandemic and social distancing have prevented us from utilizing more traditional (and cheaper) methods like knocking doors, holding rallies, or road-tripping across the state.

That's why this ad is so important to the success of our campaign. If we fail to get the word out and inform voters of Eddie's unique qualifications, we might not beat Joni Ernst this fall.

And if the last 6 years have shown us nothing else, it's that Joni Ernst is unfit to lead under any circumstance.
