Forget looking it up, John — it's Team Frankel, and ahead of our last FEC Reporting Deadline of the cycle, we're here to answer one of our most frequently asked questions ⬆️: "Why do grassroots donations matter to our campaign?"
And it all comes down to one thing: accountability. So before we ask you to help us raise the $8,622 we need to meet tonight's online fundraising goal, let's talk through some numbers:
In what's shaping up to be one of the closest races our district has seen in over a decade, Lois is running against a GOP opponent who has loaned his own campaign over $1 million.
In fact, his biggest donors to date are himself and the Republican Party of Palm Beach County, who have donated thousands toward his efforts to unseat Congresswoman Lois Frankel and flip our district from blue to red.
And because he has all of the incentive to act on his personal agenda and the agenda of right-wing extremists, our Trump-endorsed opponent has no incentive to act in the best interests of our community.
Lois' people-powered campaign, on the other hand, is making one thing clear: because she's holding herself accountable to folks like you, your neighbor, and the cashier at the grocery store, she's 100% committed to solving the issues that we deal with day-to-day.
And in her 30+ years of public service, that's exactly what she's done. As a champion for reproductive freedom, safer neighborhoods, and protected benefits for seniors, Lois has shown us time and time again that she will stand up for what we need as a community.
But like we said, this race is shaping up to be one of the closest our district has seen in over a decade, and the stakes couldn't be higher.
With literal hours until one of our last big fundraising deadlines of the cycle, we need the extra resources to tell folks not only about Lois' campaign, but about important initiatives on the ballot, like Amendment 3 and Amendment 4. Ahead of tonight's FEC Reporting Deadline, will you help us raise what we need toward our $8,622 goal?
