FREE Bird Walk Tomorrow at Meadowood in Lorton, VA

Where: Meadowood Lower Potomac Field Station, 10406 Gunston Rd, Lorton, VA 22079

Join Andreas Seiter for a bird walk at a new location - the Meadowood Special Recreation Management Area. This BLM property includes over 800 acres of preserved land, including meadow habitats, which make it a great place to see meadow species of birds. Our volunteers have gathered citizen science data at this location for decades! Come out to learn about this special area. Bring your own binoculars. Meet at the Meadowood Lower Potomac Field Station, 10406 Gunston Rd, Lorton, VA 22079. No signup required.

No registration is required. The walk will happen unless there is heavy rain or a storm.
