					With over 95% of young people ages 13-17 having a smart phone, we know these impressionable minds are being exposed to harmful content online, including antisemitic hate speech.

					
					The ADL Center for Technology and Society's latest social media scorecard highlights how these platforms are falling short in addressing this problem, even though they have guidelines in place.*  

					
					But there’s something you can do.

					 
														ADL Education offers resources and tools to help you, as an educator, administrator, parent or caregiver guide the young people in your life to recognize and challenge hate, both online and in your communities. They include:

	
						Awareness to Action: an engaging 4-part digital course for middle and high school students that offers real world connections and practical strategies to recognize and challenge antisemitism when faced with it online, in their schools and in their communities.

						Educators Addressing Antisemitism Mini-Lesson: Supports K-12 educators and administrators in building skills to recognize and address antisemitism through exploring Jewish identity and unpacking the word 'antisemitism.'

						Echoes & Reflections: The leading source for Holocaust educational materials and professional learning for educators as well as digital offerings for students.  

						'Address Antisemitism' Digital Kit: Comprehensive and curated resources for educators and students including a ready-to-use lesson plan, student activities, family resources and much more!

						Engaging Webinars: Virtual learning experiences that empower schools and communities to address antisemitism and hate.

	
					We believe that by engaging with these resources, educators can help young people balance and even supersede the negative content experienced through social media, online gaming and other digital channels.

					
					Education, together with open and honest dialogue, can help foster understanding, reflection and, ultimately, the ability to challenge hate in all its forms.
