The Supreme Court is back in session… and their docket this year is a doozy!
This term, the Supreme Court will be taking on a series of cases that could destroy environmental protections - deciding on everything from clean water protections to nuclear waste storage to oil pipelines. We need your help to elect congressional candidates who will fight for environmental protections even when the Supreme Court won’t.
After a decades-long fight on the Supreme Court, conservatives have gained a 6-3 majority against progressives. This has allowed them to take away long-standing environmental protections for wetlands, significantly restrict the EPA’s ability to regulate power plant pollution, and undermine core environmental principles like the Good Neighbor Rule.
This is the direct result of Donald Trump being President and Republicans confirming 3 new radical Justices to the Supreme Court. We can’t let them do it again.
