Steve King is an embarrassment to the halls of Congress. Just today, he gave a speech where he claimed that humanity “would not exist without rape and incest” in an effort to defend his support of a total ban on abortion.

Excusing inhumane violence and assault to suit your political agenda is unacceptable in this nation, and displays a fundamental lack of character. If Steve King had any respect for our values, he’d resign his seat immediately.

This isn’t the first time Steve King has disgraced his seat. Last year, he publicly questioned when “white supremacy and nationalism became offensive terms.” He has a history of boosting dangerous white nationalist talking points and figures.
