All their anti-democratic votes and capitulating to corporate greed are coming back to bite them -- and our Republican targets are scared. Indivisibles,
Since we launched the Payback Project three months ago, we’ve seen more and more evidence that Senate Republicans are more interested in their bottom lines than in representing their constituents. But all those anti-democratic votes and capitulating to corporate greed are coming back to bite them -- which means we have a real chance to kick them out of office this year.
Last week, David Perdue (R-GA) told GOP activists, “Here's the reality: The state of Georgia is in play.” A few days later, Cook Political changed their rating for Lindsey Graham’s South Carolina election from “Solid R” to “Lean R.” And new polling shows Republicans Thom Tillis in North Carolina and Steve Daines in Montana are both losing ground.
They’ve done this to themselves by continually voting against the interests of their constituents in favor of their corporate buddies -- and we’re the movement that’s going to make them pay for it. We have groups on the ground nationwide who are doing the work to win, and we’re supporting them with ads, training, and the digital tools they need to get the job done.
That’s where you come in: we’ve got these Republicans on the defensive, and we can’t let up now. It might seem like an eternity, but we only have a few short months to implement all our plans to win in November -- and we need your help. Can you make a $10 donation to support the Payback Project and all the crucial work we’re doing this year?
These eleven senators know their jobs are in danger, and they’re not going to go down without a fight. That’s why it’s more important than ever that we put every piece of our strategy in motion.
Our plan for payback is simple:
- Build awareness and accountability
- Boost local political power
- Organize to win
- Get out the vote
Steps one and two have been key to the gains we’ve seen in races nationwide, and we’re going to keep up the pressure until Election Day.
But with social distancing measures and changing election dates, steps three and four look really different than they did when we came up with this plan in January. We’re working directly with local groups to help them develop election organizing plans that make sense in the current climate, and we’re constantly updating our voter activation plans as new information surfaces.
Pivoting our plans and staying nimble are what’s going to help us win in November, but we can’t do it without your support. Click here to donate and fund our Payback plans and all our 2020 work.

Every time we think these eleven GOP senators can’t sink any lower, they manage to prove us wrong. We’re ready to do what it takes to vote them out, and we’re grateful you’re in this fight with us.
In solidarity, Indivisible Team
