Dear NRDC Action Fund Supporter,
The devastation of Hurricanes Helene and Milton is gut-wrenching, and the impacts will be long-lasting for too many. It's a painful reminder that the climate crisis is costing people their homes, their businesses, and even their lives.
And it underscores, yet again, just how much is at stake in this election.
So with less than 3 weeks until Election Day, I keep wondering:
Are we doing enough to win?
Of course, there's no way to be sure — but we have a plan that will give us the best possible chance to stop Donald Trump, elect Vice President Harris and pro-environment lawmakers up and down the ballot, and bring our planet back from the brink of catastrophe. And that's where you come in.
Join our Get Out the Vote Call on Wednesday, October 23, to connect with other volunteers and learn how you can reach voters and make an impact this election.

The real-life, painful and rising costs of the climate crisis in the Southeast are on full display this election season.
Harris has been a steady leader in the face of these storms. She's been on the ground in Georgia and NC consoling and supporting voters, not using their pain to score political points.
Meanwhile, Trump and Vance continue to deny the climate crisis, patronize the victims, spread lies, and turn the region's heartbreak into a political stunt. If elected again, we can expect Trump will continue leaving families to pick up the bill when disaster strikes.
We're looking at two vastly different visions for America.
When you join the call, you'll get an overview of our winning electoral strategy, hear from fellow activists about what motivated them to get involved, and find out more about how you can help us reach voters — from texting to letter writing and more.
Winning is going to take all of us, working together. I hope you'll join us on Oct. 23.
Sincerely,
Jacob Jones
