Remembering Judge Grant Hartman





We are deeply sorry to share with you that our friend and colleague, Workers' Compensation Judge Grant Hartman, passed away last week.

Judge Hartman joined the Office of Administrative Hearings (OAH) as a Workers' Compensation Judge in 2016, after a career in private practice. 

Many in our professional community had a personal bond with Judge Hartman. He was a beloved friend, mentor, colleague, attorney, judge, and brother. He pursued professional excellence and extended his kindness, warmth, and good humor to others with ease.

Judge Hartman’s passing will have a significant impact throughout OAH and our workers’ compensation community. Please be mindful and caring of ourselves and each other as we grieve this loss, individually and together, in the coming weeks.

Funeral

A funeral will be held next week:


* Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at 2:00 p.m.
* Christ Presbyterian Church, 6901 Normandale Rd, Edina, MN 55435

To allow for funeral attendance, OAH will reschedule as many proceedings as possible.
