I’m reaching out because tonight marks our last FEC filing deadline before the election.

As you may know, we're periodically required to report our fundraising numbers to the Federal Election Commission (FEC). Tonight’s deadline will be one of our last chances to show momentum as votes are already being cast in our race.

This is a big deal. My opponent is relying on a Super PAC to fund his lawn signs and billboards. With about three weeks left, a strong report could prevent them from coming in with a last-minute media buy, and allow us to focus on helping neighboring Democrats win their toss-up races.

So I need to ask:

Can you send in a last-minute contribution of $3 before tonight's big deadline?
