 Hey John, it’s Anna Huck here, Josh’s Finance Director. In a few hours, I have to update Josh on our progress toward our FINAL public filing goal of the campaign — and I need your help! Since early this morning, I’ve been frantically refreshing ActBlue for our latest fundraising numbers, but as of my last refresh, we’re still $594,573 away from our $1,000,000 goal. So, I’m coming to you with a sincere request for your help. Could you pitch in any amount now so I don’t have to give Josh bad news?
“Final” is a word we’ll say a lot in the coming weeks, John. Final fundraising deadlines, final days, final moments... We only have 20 days left until Election Day, and once the last ballot is cast, that’s it. Once this race is called, it’s over. All of us — everyone on Josh’s campaign, North Carolinians in every corner of the state, and Democrats across the country — will be waiting for that final moment when we hear the words we’ve been working so hard to hear. But until that final hour is upon us, we have to make every hour, every minute, and every second count. That starts with hitting important fundraising goals, such as this one, and letting everyone know that North Carolina is ready to reject far-right extremism up AND down the ballot.
