We received dozens and dozens of uplifting stories.
From Greenville, Vanessa wrote to us about her husband who works around the clock to care for her during quarantine.
April in Emerald Isle recognized the hard work and kindness of the staff at her mother’s nursing home and thanked a particular social worker who has made it possible for families to FaceTime with their loved ones in the care facility.
In Raleigh, Jeff told us how proud he is of his fellow faculty members at NC State University for their quick transition to online classes and commended his colleagues for their determination to adapt to the changes demanded by these difficult times.
Mary is thankful for teachers and parents.
John is grateful for first responders.
Susan feels lucky to have great doctors.
And me? I’m thankful for all of you.
This crisis has done nothing if not prove the great strength of the people of North Carolina.
