Once this fundraising deadline passes tonight at midnight, my Senate colleagues in tough races will have to publicly file their last FEC report before Election Day.

This deadline is a test of strength, Mark. National Republicans will be scouring these reports and will use them to determine any final spending decisions against our Democratic allies before Election Day. There’s not a doubt in my mind that many of my Democratic colleagues will be targeted by attack ads after this FEC deadline.

Our Democratic Senate majority is razor-thin. As we enter the last few weeks until Election Day, we must make sure we’re building the resources to help my colleagues fend off Republican attacks and dark money. That is how we will keep the Senate blue.
