You are invited to join us for our second African virtual peace conference on Zoom, happening on Friday, November 15 and Saturday, November 16, 2024, from 4 to 6 PM (GMT+1). This annual free event is aimed at showcasing the opportunities that World BEYOND War (WBW) chapters in Africa have to end wars and contribute to world peace-building efforts.

The first day of the conference focuses on the work of the African chapters. It includes an overview of the countries' security contexts, the challenges to achieve a sustainable peace, what activists are doing to contribute to the solution and what World BEYOND War is doing to strengthen their capacities to take action.
On the second day, we will analyse the main conflicts in Africa. Moreover, two keynote speakers will speak on the following topics:
- Addressing Western colonialism, racism, militarism and exploitation inflicted on Africa, by Sylvie Jacqueline Ndongmo, WILPF (Women's International League for Peace and Freedom) President.
- Establishment and strengthening of Infrastructures of Peace in Africa, by Dr. Oseremen Irene, GAMIP (Global Alliance for Ministries and Infrastructures for Peace) President.

Vous êtes invité.e à nous rejoindre sur Zoom pour notre deuxième conférence virtuelle africaine sur la paix qui aura lieu le vendredi 15 novembre et le samedi 16 novembre 2024, de 16h à 18h (GMT+1). Cet événement annuel gratuit vise à présenter les opportunités qu'ont les chapitres africains de World BEYOND War (WBW) de mettre fin aux guerres et de contribuer aux efforts de construction de la paix dans le monde.

Le premier jour de la conférence est consacré au travail des chapitres africains. Ceci inclut une vue d'ensemble des contextes sécuritaires des pays, les défis pour parvenir à une paix durable, ce que les activistes font pour contribuer à la solution et ce que World BEYOND War fait pour renforcer leurs capacités à agir.
Le deuxième jour, nous analyserons les principaux conflits en Afrique. En outre, deux grands conférenciers interviendront sur les sujets suivants :
