Donald Trump and Mitch McConnell have refused to budge. Trump even called mail-in voting "corrupt", even though, with its paper trail and safety checks, it is actually safer and less prone to error or fraud.

This is absolutely ridiculous. Trump knows that, thanks to his failures, this pandemic is far worse than it could or should have been. As of today, 1.29 million Americans have become sick with the virus.

We absolutely must minimize exposure to the virus, but without undermining our democracy. We must allow people to vote in a proven, safe, and effective way -- by mail.
