John,
This World Food Day, millions of children will go to bed hungry – like Tariq* and his baby sister, Hana*.
Displaced by the war in Syria, they live in crushing poverty. “My siblings are sick, and all I can think about is their health,” says 11-year-old Tariq. “I’m scared because they’re suffering from malnutrition.”
With Tariq’s father earning less than $1 per day, humanitarian aid is all that stands between his family and starvation.
Stories like theirs remind us why the Farm Bill matters. On World Food Day, join us in urging Congress to strengthen food assistance. [[link removed]]

Hunger impacts a child’s whole world, John – weakening their immune systems and even stunting their growth.
In the face of such devastating consequences, the Farm Bill can safeguard kids’ futures. Investing in its lifesaving programs should be a priority for Congress, especially with global hunger on the rise.
In honor of World Food Day and children like Tariq, let’s push for a better Farm Bill! [[link removed]]
Thanks for being a voice for kids,
