| Dear Members and Supporters,
We are entering the final stretch — Election Day is 19 days away! As we mobilize in these crucial weeks, your financial support is more critical than ever. Every dollar you give to the Asian American Action Fund provides our candidates with the resources they need to get their message out, build momentum, and win. Your contributions will power campaign ads, fuel GOTV efforts, and ensure that our voices are heard at all levels of government.
As Former First Lady Michelle Obama reminded us, now is the time to do something. With every donation, you will help amplify the power of the AANHPI community. Whether it’s $5, $50, $500, or $5000, every bit helps us close the gap and build a stronger, more inclusive future. |
| | | A Bright Path Toward Victory: AAAFund Mid-Autumn Moon Festival Reception |
| In September, we hosted a vibrant Mid-Autumn Moon Festival Reception to bring our community together and support our candidates. The Mid-Autumn Festival traditionally marks a time when the moon shines its brightest, symbolizing a fruitful harvest and a successful future.
Just as a full moon represents hope and abundance, we are optimistic about the success of our candidates and the impact they will have on our communities. The overwhelming support and enthusiasm we witnessed at our event have strengthened our resolve to secure victories that will shape a prosperous future for us all.
Special thank you to Jose Ceballos and S-3 Group for hosting our reception at the S-3 Townhouse in Washington, DC. We were honored to have several leaders join and participate in this celebration, demonstrating their support for our mission:
CAPAC Chair Representative Judy Chu (CA-28) Representative Grace Meng (NY-06) Representative Marilyn Strickland (WA-10) Representative Susie Lee (NV-03) Senator Mazie Hirono (HI) Senator Maggie Hassan (NH) |
| | | AAAFund Endorsed Candidates for 2024 |
| We are proud to have raised +$125,000 and disbursed +$107,000 to an inspiring group of candidates who are gearing up for the final days of this election cycle. Each of these leaders has the potential to break barriers, flip seats, and secure key reelection victories that will shape the future of our country. Presidential Leadership: At the top of the ticket, Vice President Kamala Harris and Governor Tim Walz are leading the charge for the White House.
DCCC Red-to-Blue: We’re backing several candidates who are poised to flip critical seats, including Derek Tran (CA-45), Dave Min (CA-47), Lanon Baccam (IA-03), and Amish Shah (AZ-01).
New Voices Stepping Up: First-time candidates for federal office Evan Low (CA-16), Suhas Subramanyam (VA-10), and Ginger Cruz (Guam At-large) are running powerful campaigns that have energized their communities and brought attention to pressing local issues.
Trailblazers Making History: Historic wins are within reach for Congressman Andy Kim (NJ), who would be the first Korean American senator from the East Coast, and Angela Alsobrooks (MD), who would be the first Black woman senator to represent Maryland.
Defending Our Champions in the House: Key incumbents like Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (NY-08), Rep. Susie Lee (NV-03), Rep. Mark Takano (CA-39), Rep. Pramila Jayapal (WA-07), Rep. Greg Landsman (OH-01), Rep. Tom Suozzi (NY-03), and Rep. Shri Thanedar (MI-13) are fighting to retain their seats so we can flip the lower chamber and make history by electing the first Black Speaker of the House.
Protecting Our Senate Allies: In the Senate, Sen. Mazie Hirono (HI), Sen. Jacky Rosen (NV), and Sen. Sherrod Brown (OH) are working to secure re-election to hold our majority in the upper chamber.

| | | Expanding Our Influence: AAAFund at the 2024 Democratic National Convention in Chicago, IL |
| AAAFund took center stage at the Democratic National Convention, where National Chair Albert Shen joined the AAPI Caucus panel moderated by Endorsement Chair Irene Natividad. They discussed the strategic role PACs like AAAFund play in empowering AANHPI communities by funding candidates, building political influence, and ensuring our voices are included in the national discourse.
Additionally, AAAFund sponsored the Democratic Mayors Association’s Champions of Democracy Reception, featuring Boston Mayor Michelle Wu, San Diego Mayor Todd Gloria, Cincinnati Mayor Aftab Pureval, and San Antonio Mayor Ron Nirenberg. This reception highlighted the importance of local leadership in promoting equity and empowering communities nationwide. |
