Before Election Day, let’s make care a priority.

Hi John,

Here’s the thing: We vote in our elected officials to represent us – and they make decisions every day that impact care. It is their duty to be responsive to their constituents’ concerns!

With just weeks to go before Election Day, here’s one thing you can do to advocate for care: Ask your elected officials (and candidates) how they plan to act on care.

We need answers from politicians about their priorities for paid leave, child care, and aging and disability care. So we’re asking you, John, what would you ask your officials about care?

Submit Your Question Now

Giving and receiving care shouldn’t be this hard – and it doesn’t have to be. As care advocates, we can rally our communities to push for truly equitable, affordable, and accessible care that meets everyone’s needs.

You can ask how they will address caregiving challenges like expanding paid leave and making child care more affordable – or you can ask how they plan to expand home- and community-based services, so we can all access care with dignity.

Submit your questions now and we’ll lift them up for policymakers and elected officials – and we may even share some of your questions on social media so the whole country knows the questions we’re asking about care.

Together, we can make sure care is at the forefront of the national conversation.

With care,

Nicole Jorwic, Chief of Campaigns and Advocacy
