There’s a reason Colin Allred is the only Senate candidate I’ve endorsed so far this year.

I endorsed Colin in his race against Ted Cruz because one of the most important things we need to do as a country as we begin to rebuild our politics is elect serious people. 

Here in Texas, you have a tremendous, serious candidate running for U.S. Senate.

And it’s not Ted Cruz. 

Will you chip in $5 or more, friend, to help elect Colin Allred? I have worked with him in Congress, I believe he’s the right candidate for the job, and I know he will give Texans the leader they truly need and deserve.

We need people who are going to serve in good faith. And in this race, it is Colin Allred. 

It's no secret that Ted Cruz helped lead the unconstitutional effort in the Senate to overturn the 2020 election. He was willing to spread dangerous lies about the election, throw out the votes of millions of Americans, and put his personal political ambition ahead of his duty to the Constitution. 

If we do not condemn these lies, if we do not hold those responsible to account, we will be excusing this conduct, and it will become a feature of all elections. America will never be the same.

Another thing you need to know is that experts from every end of the political spectrum are saying Colin can win. Leaked polling from Mitch McConnell’s super PAC shows Colin just 1 point down, which means Ted Cruz can be defeated.
