John, A young Christian man, Ahsan Masih, has been sentenced to death by hanging in Pakistan simply for his faith. He was falsely accused of blasphemy, tried in a kangaroo court, and condemned without any evidence.
Two other Christians had been falsely accused of desecrating the Quran, and an angry Muslim mob burned down over 20 churches and 80 Christian homes in response. The Muslim rioters shared images of the supposed desecration, yet Ahsan – who wasn't even present during the riot – was the only person arrested as a result of the event for allegedly sharing the same "blasphemous" image. Now this young Christian man will hang for his Christian faith. We've mobilized our legal team on the ground in Pakistan to represent him, and we'll take his case all the way to Pakistan's Supreme Court.
