If the Republicans have control of the Senate, there will be zero opportunity to vote on a law for national abortion protections.

Also, our education policy will be controlled by people who don't believe in public education.

Our climate policy will be controlled by people who are climate deniers.

Our judges will be carefully screened by people who will make sure that they are anti-abortion.

And our gun policy will be set by people who think thoughts and prayers are all that we need.

We can’t depend on a special interest-backed Republican from out of state to hold the line for Democrats in the Senate when these issues are put up to a vote. That’s why this race is incredibly important, and why I’m taking this seriously.

So I’m fighting to bring down the cost of housing. Put child care within reach for all working parents. Protect our country from the climate crisis. Make the Supreme Court follow a standard code of ethics. Take power away from powerful interests like Big Pharma, Big Oil, and big banks and put it in the hands of working people — which means passing my set of anti-corruption plans.
