We’re so close to making history, hopefully the first of many future trans members of Congress to serve this incredible country.

But the only way that I can guarantee that I’m not the last is to quite simply be the best member of Congress that I can be. To continue to fight for what’s right and for who needs it the most — and that’s exactly what I plan to do if I win.

We can’t take anything for granted.

Our opponents want to take us back, but we know there’s simply no other way: We’re never going back.
