I wanted to make sure you saw our urgent message yesterday. This is not hyperbole, which is why I’m reaching out again. 

We urgently need the support of loyal Republicans to fund our GOTV efforts for this election, and if we can’t raise the needed funds by midnight tonight to stay on track, we are already compiling a list of critical items that are going to be cut…

• A $2,500 shortfall means removing 10 precincts from our Election Day plan.

• A $1,500 shortfall means cutting critical advertising ahead of Election Day.

• A $500 shortfall means ending phone banking a full 2 days early, leaving us vulnerable for the final days of this race.

• A $100 shortfall means 40 likely Republicans who aren’t committed to vote yet will simply never hear from us before election day. 

The major problem is…it’s not just one of these items on the chopping block. As of right now, we are still $9,650 short of meeting our budget needs, which needs all of this and more is going to get cut if we can’t make up the deficit today.

I know you’re probably sick and tired of emails asking for money this election season, but please, will you read this message? We want to explain why this is different…

We’re at a critical point in our campaign. The clock is ticking, and we are still $15,000 short of what we need before our critical mid-month financial deadline tomorrow to fully fund our Get Out The Vote (GOTV) efforts for the final stretch before Election Day.

If we can’t raise these funds by tomorrow, our staff is going to have to cut our budget at a critical juncture in the campaign. That is likely to mean losing seats that are very winnable. Please, we can’t let that happen.

Every day that passes brings us closer to November 5th, and right now, our opponents are pulling out all the stops. The Democrats are pouring money into last-minute ad buys, and they’re working around the clock to register and turn out as many voters as possible. If we don’t meet our goal by midnight tomorrow, we risk being outspent and outworked in the places that matter most.

We’ve come too far to let that happen now.

Illinois deserves better than the failed policies of the Democrats, and we know that the only way to stop them is by turning out every single Republican voter we can. That’s why we’re pushing harder than ever to meet our fundraising goals and ensure we have the resources to match the Democrats’ efforts.
