Time and time again Neal proves that his allegiance is to the pockets of large corporations.

Alex Morse for Congress -

Friend, Congressman Richard Neal received $54,000 from private equity and big pharma in their effort to torpedo a bipartisan deal to end surprise medical billing.

In December, a bipartisan group of senators and representatives were able to come together and strike a deal to lower healthcare costs, limit the costs of surprise out-of-network medical bills, and require pharmaceutical companies to disclose information about drug price hikes.

But at the last minute, Richard Neal announced his own counter-proposal — a one-page document with a vague outline of what he would pursue instead. This one-pager was enough to bring the momentum of the bipartisan group to a halt and effectively kill their attempt to end surprise medical billing.

This didn't just hurt the people in MA-01, this hurt anyone in the U.S. who could be the victim of surprise medical billing. Time and time again Neal proves that his allegiance is to the pockets of large corporations.

Alex is refusing to accept corporate PAC money, so no one ever needs to question his motives when he takes a vote in Congress. Can you make a contribution today to support Alex and our movement to bring people-powered politics and leadership to Washington?

If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your contribution will go through immediately.

Just this cycle, Neal accepted $48,600 from Blackstone — a private-equity firm that profits from saddling Americans with unfair healthcare bills. And, in 2019 Neal was the congressman with the most corporate PAC contributions, bringing in $1.4 million from them.

Look, we can’t compete with Neal’s corporate money, and that’s fine because we don’t need to. Instead, we have you and thousands of individual supporters who are ready to make change.

We need to raise $4,860 in the next week in order to compete with Neal’s big money. Can you make a contribution to help us get a head start? Any amount you can give makes a huge difference!

Friend, with your support, we will win this.

Thank you for standing with our movement for change,

Team Morse
