Patriot, I grew up in China during Mao’s Cultural
Revolution. My family lived in a small house on the river and shared an outhouse with 8 other families. We worked from sunrise to sundown, and while
in school, we recited Mao’s political slogans as prayers.
After Mao died in
1976, I passed a national entrance exam and was accepted into a university to study law. It was during that time that I met an American student who
showed me the United States Constitution.
I was shocked –
men and women had constitutional rights to free speech, press, and religion. You were able to VOTE and express your feelings. These rights seemed
impossible to me.
That moment saved my
life – in 1988, I arrived in America with $100 in my pocket. In the decades since then, I have earned a graduate degree, married, raised 3 kids,
started a business, and became a United States Citizen.
I’m running for
Congress because the country that saved my life is becoming the country I fled, and far-left policies are to blame.
I’m in one of the closest races in the country, and your
support is what will get me to the finish line. Can you help fuel my campaign these final
weeks?
