NARAL Pro-Choice America recently changed its name to Reproductive Freedom for All [[link removed]] . Our name may be new, but our mission of protecting and expanding reproductive freedom remains the same.
John,
People around the country are already voting and in only a few weeks, all ballots will be cast. This is go time. That's why I wanted to take a moment to tell you about a few key races that we must win in order to hold onto our majority in the U.S. Senate.
The race for control of the Senate is incredibly tight. But if we can hold onto our majority and flip the U.S. House, we can pass a law to restore the federal right to abortion and expand access in 2025. Help us do it by signing up now to make calls and get out the vote in critical Senate races. [[link removed]]
Restoring the federal right to abortion is the first step towards a future of reproductive freedom for every body. And these reproductive freedom champions will help us get there.
U.S. Representative Ruben Gallego, running for Senate in Arizona, has been a champion for reproductive freedom during his time in Congress, co-sponsoring priority bills—including the Women's Health Protection Act and the Equal Access to Abortion Coverage in Health Insurance (EACH) Act—which would advance abortion access and reproductive freedom.
Senator Sherrod Brown, running for reelection in Ohio, has been essential in the Senate and continues to show his strong commitment to reproductive freedom. He cosponsored both the Women's Health Protection Act and EACH Act, and supported the Right to IVF and Right to Contraception Acts. He also supported Ohio's abortion ballot measure (Issue 1), which voters passed last year.
U.S. Representative Elissa Slotkin, running for Senate in Michigan, has worked tirelessly to lock in our fundamental freedoms, including supporting the Women's Health Protection Act, the Right to Contraception Act, and the Access to Family Building Act to provide federal protections for IVF. Slotkin also co-sponsored the Momnibus package to support access to maternal health care.
Senator Tammy Baldwin, running for reelection in Wisconsin, has been a leader in the fight to restore and expand reproductive rights. Baldwin is the lead sponsor of the Women's Health Protection Act and the Reproductive Health Travel Fund Act to offset travel-related costs for people seeking abortion care.
Even if you don't live in these states, these races will impact you and your reproductive freedom. Winning these races will be the difference between a Senate that passes a federal right to abortion—or one that rejects it.
In this final stretch, I hope you'll make time to help us get out the vote. Help make calls (or send texts) for these Senate candidates! [[link removed]]
