For Dutch, it all comes back to this: Dutch is driven by his passion for helping others.
It’s why he started his career in politics and it’s why he’s running for re-election this year, so he can continue fighting for Marylanders in Congress.
Dutch wrote about why he’s running for re-election in an op-ed for the Capital Gazette, and we want to share some of the highlights:
“I believe Congress needs more members like me, who are focused on solutions over politics, now more than ever.”
“Democrats and Republicans need to work together on behalf of our country throughout this crisis, and that includes working with the President and his Administration. This is about saving lives and livelihoods.”
Dutch cuts across the extreme partisan divide that holds back progress in Washington to get things done. He’s fought to protect Social Security and Medicare for seniors, improve benefits for veterans, strengthen job opportunities for hardworking Marylanders, and keep our country safe from outside attacks.
If we’re going to send Dutch back to Congress in November, we need to share all of his hard work with as many people as possible so they know what we already know: Dutch is the leader we need fighting in our corner in Congress.
Will you take a minute to share Dutch’s op-ed with your friends and family on Facebook and Twitter?
Thanks!
Team Dutch
