Who should decide what medical treatment you receive? Most would say the obvious: you and your doctor. Unfortunately, some corporate insurance companies are getting in the way of patients’ treatment plans by delaying and denying care to pad their own profits. Many times, these corporate insurers rely on AI algorithms to determine patient outcomes — without a medical professional ever reviewing the case.
