Team, we’re three weeks out from November 5th. And during my time talking to voters, I know you feel this too – this election is extremely personal.
There are many reasons for that, but there’s one, in particular, that pulls at my heart and fuels me on the trail. My son, Pat, and daughter-in-law, Stephanie, have been struggling to conceive a second child. After years of trying, it’s IVF treatment that’s given them hope they may finally bring home a sibling to my granddaughter, Ella.
You can guess where I’m going next. Recent moves by the MAGA GOP and Donald Trump – not to mention the disgusting rhetoric from JD Vance – to deprive women of bodily autonomy, have driven them to call for restricting IVF and ruin that hope for millions of families like mine across the country. It’s sick.

We’re at the point in this election where we’re reassessing the lay of the land, and deciding where we need to allocate resources in this final stretch. Holding the White House, holding the U.S. Senate, and flipping back the U.S. House, run through the Philly suburbs, and if we don’t show up this time, we could be swearing in President Trump in 2025 with a Congress ready to do his bidding.
We have to spend every day left fighting as if the GOP will do exactly what they’ve promised. After all, as Maya Angelou said, “When someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time.” The GOP plans to restrict IVF, ban abortion, demolish the Department of Education, decimate our middle class, and so much more. It feels personal because it is personal.
