Join
people across the country taking the pledge to ‘come out’ as affirming and safe adults for 2SLGBTQI youth Egale Canada’s 2024 National Coming Out Day campaign, Coming Out Together* has inspired people across the country to take the pledge to ‘come out’ as supportive, affirming and safe adults in the lives of 2SLGBTQI youth.
With anti-2SLGBTQI hate continuing to rise in Canada and around the world, queer and trans youth may not feel safe to come out. This is why adults making the effort to create safer spaces for the 2SLGBTQI young people in their lives is more important than ever.
Take action in support of
2SLGBTQI youth by doing three simple tasks:
→ Pledge to ‘Come Out’ as an affirming adult, which means taking concrete actions to foster safer spaces for 2SLGBTQI youth.
→ Attend a free webinar to gain skills for promoting environments where 2SLGBTQI youth can thrive.
→ Learn more by accessing free resources on the coming out journey and how to support a 2SLGBTQI young person who just came out to you.
