We are issuing an urgent CALL TO ACTION to help our candidates in Florida stay on track right as we near Election Day.
Florida is still reeling from Hurricane Milton. The disaster caused billions of dollars in damage and has left nearly 1 million Floridians still without power. Many of our candidates and campaign teams had been instructed to evacuate their homes and communities. Get Out The Vote (GOTV) and fundraising efforts in Florida have been largely paused until further notice.
With only a few weeks left until the election, our candidates in the critical state of Florida will have a hard time closing these unexpected gaps in their fundraising numbers to stay on track until Election Day. We’re asking everyone outside of Florida (and those in the state who are able) to send support to these campaigns during this dire time by making a donation today.
We’ve highlighted one of our tightest races in Florida below:

Hi John xxxxxx,
With abortion literally on the ballot this November, Florida is one of the most critical battleground states this year. Today, we want to tell you about one of our Florida candidates running against a well-funded “darling” of Florida’s GOP.
Sarah Henry is running for the Florida House of Representatives, District 38.
Her opponent, Representative David Smith, supports a TOTAL abortion ban AND has an A rating from the NRA. Sarah ran against him in 2022 and came within a 4% margin of flipping the seat – despite depressed Democratic turnout in the state that year. It’s time to help her finish the job.
Donate a split $20.24 or more donation between Sarah’s campaign and Her Bold Move today. With your help, we can unseat anti-choice Republican men in Florida and restore abortion access.
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will be processed immediately and automatically split between Her Bold Move and Sarah Henry:
From a young age, Sarah has always been a pro-choice champion. As a high-schooler, she volunteered as a clinic escort at EMW Women’s Surgical Clinic. These clinics are constantly under attack by anti-choice protestors, and, as a young woman standing on the property line, she became a target of these aggressors, with her name and photo posted on their websites.
As an elected member of the Florida House of Representatives, she will be committed to the same pursuit of comprehensive, accessible, and safe reproductive healthcare for all people.
Here is where she stands on other critical issues:
✅ She will work to fully fund Florida’s public schools, ensuring that students have equitable access to an innovative, 21st-century education.
✅ She will fight to uphold the legislation passed in the wake of the tragic Parkland shooting, including red flag laws, keeping assault weapons away from teenagers, and comprehensive background checks.
✅ Amid a housing crisis, Sarah will advocate for young families and graduates who are working to establish themselves.
Abortion rights are under attack in Florida, but we have an opportunity this November to restore access and unseat anti-abortion extremists. The majority of Sarah’s district is made up of women – but they have never been represented by a woman. It’s time for that to change.
Rush a split donation of $20.24 or more now to ensure Sarah has the resources she needs to connect with voters and WIN. Time is running out, and we need all hands on deck. →
Together,
Anna Sophia Rowe
