Dear John,
Parents are the primary caretakers of their children. That's why we passed the parents' rights initiative in Washington State this year. However, it's troubling that when a national parents' rights bill was allowed, Kim Schrier voted against it. She also
voted against protecting our children's information from being sold for commercial or financial gains.
More than ever, it’s critical that we stand together to protect the rights of parents to make decisions for their children’s education, health, and upbringing. Parents should have a voice in what their children are taught in schools, and they deserve transparency from the
government when it comes to the policies that affect their families.
Our campaign is committed to fighting for the rights of parents. We believe that families—not bureaucrats—know what’s best for their children. That’s why we’re working to pass policies that ensure curriculum transparency and empower parents to take control of their children’s education.
It’s time we have a Congresswoman willing to fight for our parents.
