John, it’s Josh Stein, Democratic nominee for Governor of North Carolina with a message for you and Democrats across the country.

Here in North Carolina, it’s coming down to the wire. Just a handful of votes out of millions will decide this election, John – and with just 21 days until Election Day and early voting starting up in less than 48 hours, I’m not willing to leave our state’s future up to chance.

I’ve spent decades serving our state and fighting for our people because I want all North Carolinians to have the opportunity to build their lives and futures in this state. But my opponent is threatening that opportunity.

We’re up against a far-right extremist conspiracy theorist who wants to pass harmful legislation that will restrict North Carolinians’ fundamental freedoms and who has a history of hateful remarks. And with 14% of voters still undecided, we can’t afford to waste any time.

Our future is in our hands, John. With Election Day coming up fast, we are running out of time to hit our fundraising goals, get the resources we need, and sway the undecided voters who could tip this election in our favor and for Democrats up and down the ballot. So frankly, we can’t risk coming up short.
