John, After 28 years building movements and passing laws in Congress, I'm heading back to my hometown of Portland to lend a hand to candidates and causes that are critically important to our future.

The Pacific Northwest is home to a whole slate of great candidates and leaders that we must protect. Marie Gluesenkamp Perez flipped Washington's 3rd district and we must keep it in Democratic hands in November.

She's a fifth-generation Washingtonian and comes from a long line of working people. She and her husband built a successful small business auto mechanic shop that grew to serve her whole community.
