ICE operations aren’t just a morally reprehensible machine to separate
families and deport immigrants en masse. They’re also surprisingly
high-tech.

A private company called Palantir provides ICE with unprecedented
abilities to track and monitor people in real time. They’re raking in
profits helping ICE cage children and families in sub-standard, human
rights-violating conditions.

Palantir equips ICE agents with license plate readers, taps into databases
to access personal information like home address, work address, children’s
school, financial information, social media profile, and more. Their
software runs not just in DC offices, but out in the field too.

There’s no mistaking it: ICE could not deport and cage immigrants on this
kind of scale without Palantir’s technology.

We’re joining with frontline grassroots groups like Mijente to build
public pressure for Palantir to drop its contract with ICE. And it’s
working. Public outcry has already led research universities to divest
from Palantir. Now we’re taking to tech monster head on.
