We’re just a few weeks away from Election Day, but there’s still so much to do to ensure that voters can cast their ballots without obstacles.

As part of the Common Cause Pennsylvania team, I oversee our Election Protection work — and I’ve witnessed firsthand the challenges voters are facing this year. We’ve long known that 2024 would present unprecedented hurdles, and we’ve taken swift action to respond.

Together, we’ve accomplished an incredible amount already. We’ve recruited dozens of volunteers, with many more signing up through ProtectTheVote.net every single day. These dedicated volunteers have worked tirelessly — covering shifts during primaries, exposing online disinformation, and helping ensure voters can cast their ballots securely.

But we can’t stop now.

With Election Day fast approaching, we’re mobilizing more volunteers than ever to protect voters across the state. But we’re facing an overwhelming amount of demand — more than we anticipated — and we need extra support to train and equip them all.
