Opportunities for the Next Generation

Whether it’s being an engaged lay member or a pastor, God calls all of us to use our gifts in the local church. The Missouri Conference’s ministry internship program provides support and funds for college-age students to serve during the summer at local churches across Missouri. Last summer we had 11 interns at six churches. Read and watch some of their stories below:

Internships are short-term, unique opportunities for people to be exposed to different ministry settings or hone their skills for their future. The world has made space for young people to have a place in their businesses and organizations. It’s time for our church to make time for young people to see how they can impact and influence the local church.

Host churches receive training and financial support from the Annual Conference. Learn more about hosting an intern in 2025 at www.moumethodist.org/internships
