This message is from Families Together, the single point of contact for families with children with disabilities.  They hold various trainings across the state for parents and their children about their rights and employment.   We need your help reaching families and young adults ages 14-26. Our Family Employment Awareness Training (FEAT) in Garden City on Oct. 25 and 26 is an opportunity for families, youth and young adults and others to learn how competitive integrated employment is possible for individuals who have any disability.  Whether an individual has a learning disability, mental health needs, autism, a physical disability or any other disability, employment is possible when you focus on their strengths and interests and the needs of your community.  FEAT is a free 2-day training for families, youth, young adults, and others who believe that competitive integrated employment is possible, including for individuals who have disabilities. Share this with families, professionals, community members and others! We challenge you to come as a team. Bring a family with you! A limited number of hotel rooms are available for families who travel to the training.  Empowering Futures!
